THE WRITERS
Michael B. Hinton and Sherry R. Melancon learned to write stories while playing Dungeons & Dragons. If, at the end of a gaming session, the player characters were in a spot where they had time to relax and chat, the players could write conversations that took place between those characters outside of the gaming session and then share them with everyone hoping for someone else to pick up the conversation where it was left off. They were called "campfire conversations." It became apparent that Sherry and Mike were way more into writing stories than anyone else. Finally, after being pestered to participate in one too many of these mini-novella explorations, the other players told them they ought to write a book. And that's what they did. It took a while. It turns out writing a book is harder than writing a campfire conversation, but they figured it out. You can expect to see Afflicted, the first book of the RTX Chronicles Trilogy, by the end of August 2017.
